About the Role
As an Associate Attorney, you will manage all aspects of litigation, including taking and defending depositions, attending court conferences, reviewing pleadings, and preparing for trial. You will conduct legal research, draft complex pleadings, and negotiate settlements on behalf of clients. This position requires maintaining professionalism and confidentiality while contributing to the firm's growth by establishing strong client relationships.
About You
Required:
- Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as an attorney, specifically in defense litigation.
- Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
- Proven experience in managing a full caseload.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Unwavering ethics and a high level of professionalism.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to resolve disputes favorably for clients.
Preferred:
- General liability defense experience.
