Alton Aviation Consultancy is seeking an Associate (Intern - Summer 2026) to join their Aircraft Financial & Technical Services team in New York. The role involves analytical work to support aircraft investments and financing.
About the Role
As an Associate Intern, you will work closely with Alton's principals to apply commercial expertise and rigorous analysis in the aircraft leasing and financing industry. Your responsibilities will include preparing aviation financing cash flow forecasts, conducting market research, and performing quantitative and qualitative analyses. You will develop a deep understanding of aircraft investment mechanics and contribute to the growth of the company.
About You
Required:
- Pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in STEM or a similar discipline with strong academic performance.
- Strong interest in and passion for the aviation industry.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong programming skills.
Preferred:
- Proficiency with Microsoft VBA and/or Python.
- Ability to perform under pressure and within tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

- Base salary range of $87,500-$97,500.
