About the Role
As an Assistant Store Manager, you will assist in managing both front- and back-of-house operations, ensuring a best-in-class customer experience. Your responsibilities will include training and mentoring the store team, addressing customer complaints, driving financial results, and maintaining store inventory. You will also step in as the lead point of contact when the store manager is away and promote a positive team culture.
About You
Required:
- Experience in makeup artistry, retail management, hospitality, or a customer-facing role at a managerial level.
- 3+ years of experience in leading a team.
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and conflict management skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
Preferred:
- Passion for the Jones Road mission and products, and understanding of the Jones Road clean beauty aesthetic.
- Proficient in generating weekly reporting, scheduling, and project management to drive sales.
- Excellent oral, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Aptitude with Microsoft Office, G-Suite, and POS systems.
