About the Role
As an Assistant School Based Coordinator, you will develop programs that foster a positive work environment at RVCC. Your responsibilities will include managing mentorship initiatives, providing training, and assisting leadership teams. You will support clinicians in their transition to RVCC, encourage clinician retention and satisfaction, and help build community connections among clinicians. Additionally, you will track the effectiveness of programs and attend School-Based Leadership meetings as needed.
About You
Required:
- Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or Social Work, and eligible for state licensure.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with children/adolescents in a clinical role (1 of which must be in schools).
- 3 years of experience collaborating with community organizations/programs and schools.
- Strong organizational skills, initiative taking, and relationship building.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective management and planning skills.
- Interpersonal skills and crisis intervention skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work within deadlines.
- Knowledge of legal and ethical issues pertaining to the profession.
