About the Role
As an Assistant Managing Editor, you will guide and coordinate the content development staff, including physician contributors and freelancers, while ensuring deadlines are met. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with the content team to establish editorial strategy, developing an editorial calendar, managing print production processes, producing high-quality content, and maintaining professional relationships with authors and industry experts. You will also conduct data analysis and participate in video interviews with industry KOLs.
About You
Required:
- Experience in publishing and familiarity with medical terminology/optometry.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in developing editorial strategies and managing content production.
- Knowledge of AMA style guidelines.
