Summary
Mission Staffing is seeking an Assistant Controller, Management Company Accounting to join their rapidly expanding team in Midtown Manhattan. The role involves supporting the CFO and Controllers in managing the accounting for a quantitative trading firm with a current AUM of $3.6 billion.
About the Role
As an Assistant Controller, you will maintain the Management Company books and records, oversee month-end activities, prepare financial statements, and assist with regulatory compliance. You will work closely with controllers and staff accountants, manage expense allocations, and support the Finance team in improving processes and procedures.
About You
Required:
- 5-8 years of total experience in accounting, with a mix of public and private experience.
- CPA certification is ideal.
Preferred:
- Experience in Management Company Accounting on the private side.

- Base salary up to $175,000.
- Total compensation range of $200,000-$250,000.
