About the Role
As an ARK Assistant, you will facilitate workshops utilizing art and music, mentor youth using trauma-informed practices, and help them identify healthy pathways. You will also be responsible for maintaining client files, planning workshops, tracking attendance, and participating in event coordination. The position requires collaboration with a team and active engagement with students throughout the workday.
About You
Required:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
- College experience in Human Services or related work experience.
- Reliable transportation to Cricket's House.
- Ability to walk, move quickly, reach, bend, and stoop throughout the day.
- Adequate energy to actively engage with students.
- Pass background check.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree or Candidate for Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Sociology, or related field.
- Experience working with children affected by trauma.
- Bi-Lingual.
