Summary
Perry Homes is seeking an Architectural Designer to join their team in Houston, TX. The role involves designing all Perry Homes products, including floor plans and elevations, while exercising discretion and judgment in architectural design.
About the Role
As an Architectural Designer, you will be responsible for developing preliminary floor plans and elevation designs, analyzing designs for cost compliance and overall design efficiency, collaborating with CAD producers, and reviewing plans for accuracy. You will also design new elevations for existing products, oversee the flow of plans through the department, conduct field reviews of products, and complete projects under tight deadlines.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in design with an emphasis in high-end residential design.
- Demonstrated computer skills including a working knowledge of MS Office products, AutoCAD, and 3D color rendering.
Preferred:
- Licensed Architect.
- Experience with sketch-up and a valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
