Summary
Citi is seeking an Applications Development Sr Programmer to join their team in Irving, TX, in a hybrid work environment. The role involves establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team.
About the Role
As an Applications Development Sr Programmer, you will analyze and collaborate on technical solutions, take responsibility for successful delivery, mentor other developers, explore existing application systems, communicate with clients and project teams, suggest improvements to software architecture, and ensure adherence to engineering standards. You will also perform code and design reviews and help define operating standards and processes.
About You
Required:
- 6-8 years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis role.
- Expert level knowledge in JAVA/J2EE, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework.
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB and SCMs like GIT.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology and strong systems analysis skills.
Preferred:
- Deep understanding of Microservices best practices.
- Good understanding of Kafka.
- Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
