Cetechs is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join their team at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center (MEDVAMC) in Houston, TX. The role involves providing nurse anesthesia services, administering medications, and monitoring patient progress.
About the Role
As a CRNA, you will perform pre-anesthesia evaluations, prepare anesthesia plans, deliver various forms of anesthesia, and follow up on general anesthesia cases. You will provide emergency airway management, assist with quality assurance activities, and ensure patient care is safe and effective. Your responsibilities will also include educating patients and families, monitoring patient status, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.
About You
Required:
- Current unrestricted license as a Nurse Anesthetist from a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States.
- Minimum two (2) years' experience as a CRNA.
- Master's or doctoral degree in nurse anesthesia from an accredited program.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Must be a US Citizen.
Preferred:
- Experience in a variety of anesthesia techniques and modalities.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
