About the Role
As an Analytical Scientist R&D, you will support formulation development by developing and validating analytical test methods, performing hands-on lab work, and coordinating with junior analytical staff. You will provide routine characterization of R&D formulations and analytical support for studies necessary for chemistry and manufacturing controls. The position requires drafting test methods and validation protocols as per FDA and ICH guidelines while following cGMP.
About You
Required:
- BS with 5+ years of experience in pharmaceuticals or related field, or MS in Science with 3+ years of experience.
- Experience in test method validation.
- Strong background in HPLC and GC, including strong GC method development skills.
- Ability to perform laboratory duties that require standing for up to 90% of the workday and lifting containers containing up to 4+L of liquids.
Preferred:
- Experience with test method development and MDI product testing.
- Experience developing generic products, including inhalation products.
- Familiarity with cGMP regulations, FDA guidance documents, and QbD.
- Ability to guide junior level analytical scientists and chemists.
