About the Role
As an Airframe and Powerplant Specialist, you will be responsible for performing maintenance on military aircraft, traveling to various locations for extended periods, training on aircraft electrical wire harnesses, interpreting technical manuals and engineering drawings, maintaining shop supplies, operating shop tools, performing inventory control, and adhering to company policies and safety programs.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma required.
- Current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License required.
- 3+ years of professional experience in aircraft maintenance.
Preferred:
- Associate's Degree in management or technical/scientific discipline preferred.
- Broad working knowledge of FAA regulations and aircraft maintenance requirements.
- Familiarity with documenting maintenance actions in military aircraft records.
