Summary
Yulista Holding LLC is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic to join their team in Houston, TX. The role involves performing a variety of tasks on airplane general, airframe, and powerplant systems during the night shift.
About the Role
As an Aircraft Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining aircraft, including mechanical systems and ground support equipment. Your duties will include repairing, inspecting, and maintaining structural, mechanical, and electrical elements of the aircraft, as well as training others in the use of diagnostic devices and tools. You will document maintenance activities, comply with safety regulations, and may perform Designated System Inspector duties. Additionally, you will handle hazardous materials according to environmental standards and maintain equipment records using NASA's automated maintenance data system.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 3+ years of aircraft maintenance experience with fixed wing commercial, Government or DOD aircraft required.
- May require a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airplane and/or Powerplant certification.
Preferred:
- Experience supporting a NASA/DoD contract.
- Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
