About the Role
As a Program Assistant, you will work under the direction of the Site Coordinator to manage daily operations of the after-school program. Your responsibilities will include supervising students, assisting with homework, planning enrichment activities, and maintaining communication with students, families, and school staff. You will also attend professional development workshops and create an inclusive environment for all participants.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication and organization skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, be self-directed, and problem-solve.
- Maturity, responsibility, professionalism, and sincere interest in working with school-aged children.
Preferred:
- Associates degree.
- Experience with school-aged children and/or after-school programming and activities.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable.
Benefits
- Hourly pay based on experience, starting at $21.00/hour.
