About the Role
As an Adjunct Instructor of Visual Communication, you will be responsible for employing innovative modalities to deliver course content and maintaining current knowledge in the field to enrich the Department curriculum. You will represent the University and the Department of Rhetoric & Communication Studies professionally with various stakeholders. Teaching assignments will be available each semester on an as-needed basis.
About You
Required:
- Master of Arts or Master of Fine Arts degree in visual arts, media arts communication, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
- Three (3) years of related research and work experience.
- Expertise in applicable, industry-standard computer software and digital design tools.
- Excellent communication skills for working with diverse groups.
- Excellent organizational skills with accuracy and attention to detail.
Preferred:
- Collegiate teaching experience.
- Proven ability to work independently, prioritize, and complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Commitment to the role of communications in a liberal arts setting.
