About the Role
As an Adjunct Dental Assistant Instructor, you will provide instruction to students enrolled in the Dental Assisting program, serve as a faculty advisor, develop and assess student learning outcomes, maintain accurate records, and participate in curriculum evaluation. You will also be responsible for fulfilling professional responsibilities and maintaining teaching credentials.
About You
Required:
- Must hold a DMD/DDS from an accredited Dental School.
- Must have a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) credential.
- Possess a baccalaureate degree or be willing to earn one within three years of initial hire.
- Have at least 3 years of dental office/patient care experience.
- Hold a current, valid Dentist license in the State of Alabama.
Preferred:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experience in curriculum evaluation and textbook selection.
