The Arbors and The Ivy Assisted Living Communities is seeking an Activity Assistant-Per diem to join their team in Taunton, MA. The role involves assisting in the implementation of a social/recreational program for residents in the Reflections memory care community.
About the Role
As an Activity Assistant-Per diem, you will be responsible for engaging and motivating residents to participate in various activities, including spiritual, educational, cognitive, and wellness programs. You will assess resident participation, provide assistance during activities, and conduct one-on-one visits for residents who prefer not to join larger groups. Additionally, you will need to meet the Registry of Motor Vehicle requirements as an approved driver.
About You
Required:
- Associates Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- At least 1 year of experience (paid or volunteer) working with elders in home care, assisted living, or skilled nursing facilities.
