About the Role
As an Accounting Technologist, Business Systems Program Manager, you will act as the lead Accounting partner to Product and Systems teams, managing the end-to-end definition and execution of Accounting requirements for product launches. You will support the integration of financial systems throughout the product lifecycle, build relationships across teams, and create processes for predictable launch mechanisms.
About You
Required:
- 7+ years of relevant Finance experience with a proven track record of leading large complex, cross-functional projects.
- Demonstrated experience communicating financial concepts and processes in writing to cross-functional audiences.
- Experience of system and process design.
- Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
- Desire to exceed expectations and drive positive change in the organization.
- Working understanding of an internal control framework and solid understanding of control design and operational efficiency.
- Strong skills in Google Office Suite and Jira.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to demonstrate sound judgment and deliver results even in ambiguous situations.
- Ability to thrive and adapt in fast-paced, changing environments.
- Ability to work and think independently while contributing successfully to cross-functional teams.
Preferred:
- CPA or similar qualification.
- Experience using SQL to self-service information.
- Tech industry experience.
- Previous experience as an Accountant in a high-growth environment.
- Experience with translating accounting conclusions into operational processes.
- A demonstrated history of solving multiple and complex operation and accounting challenges.
