About the Role
As an Accountant II, you will monitor major sponsor awards for financial compliance, prepare and review financial reports, manage federal draws, and assist with audits and month/year-end close processes. You will also communicate contractual requirements, maintain contact with program administrators, and lead in the design and development of financial reporting systems.
About You
Required:
- B.S. in Accounting, CPA, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of five years of accounting experience with large organizations, utilizing sophisticated financial information systems.
Preferred:
- Public accounting experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of general accounting principles and internal controls.
