About the Role
As an Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements in compliance with US and Canadian GAAP and IFRS, implementing NetSuite as the ERP system, leading audits, managing banking relationships, and providing financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years’ experience in accounting and financial management.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong ethical standards and integrity.
- Proficient in NetSuite.
- Strong accounting knowledge and skills.
- Critical thinking skills to understand root causes and avoid future issues.
- Financial analysis skills to provide variance analysis and support in forecasting and budgeting.
Preferred:
- CPA or equivalent certification.
- Experience supporting Canadian operations.
- Previously employed by a global organization.
