ITC Worldwide is seeking an Account Executive, II, MSP to join their team in Newport News, VA. The role focuses on driving growth and development of the clientele base for managed IT services with an uncapped commission opportunity plus base salary and benefits.
About the Role
As an Account Executive for IT Managed Service Provider (MSP), you will develop, track, and close sales leads through prospecting and strategic partnerships. Responsibilities include identifying prospect requirements, collaborating with technical staff to generate proposals, presenting proposals to clients, working with marketing to develop campaigns and qualified leads, qualifying opportunities, managing the sales pipeline independently, and leveraging networking events to promote the brand and build relationships. The role targets acquiring 4 new client logos per month focusing on IT services such as Help Desk, Azure Infrastructure, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and Microsoft Business Applications.
About You
Required:
- 5+ years of experience selling to mid-market and enterprise customers in an account executive or sales position, specifically in the tech space (direct MSP experience preferred).
- Deep understanding of IT services including Infrastructure, Cloud technologies, IT Managed Services (ITMS), and/or IT Outsourced (ITO) services.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with CIO, CTO, and other high-level business executives.
- Proven track record of sales performance including new business development.
- Ability to find potential clients' pain points and offer solutions based on feedback.
- Ability to identify potential client targets and book exploratory meetings.
- Ability to travel throughout the area for client-facing meetings.
