About the Role
As a Special Education RISE Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching various subjects to students with significant disabilities, developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and providing emotional support to families. You will adapt lessons, assess student performance, and collaborate with parents and staff to ensure high achievement expectations are met.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution.
- Experience in a Special Education classroom setting with students who have significant disabilities.
- Valid Texas state certification in Special Education and core content areas.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of curriculum and instruction.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
