About the Role
As an Assistant Athletics Trainer, you will be responsible for maintaining records of injuries and treatments, developing injury prevention strategies, providing on-site evaluation and treatment of injuries, and acting as a liaison between athletes, coaches, and medical professionals. You will also be involved in scheduling pre-participation sports physicals and ensuring compliance with district and state regulations.
About You
Required:
- Degree from a CAATE accredited program.
- 2 years of clinical experience.
- First Aid and CPR/AED certification.
- BOC certification.
- Licensed in the state of Massachusetts as an Allied Health Professional.
- NATA member in good standing.
Preferred:
- Experience in athletic training for middle and high school athletes.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in high-stress situations.
