Tools, Inc. is seeking a 1st Shift Press/Laser Machine Operator to join their team in Sussex, WI. The role involves operating mechanical and hydraulic stamping press equipment as well as 5-axis laser cutting equipment to produce high-quality parts.
About the Role
As a 1st Shift Press/Laser Machine Operator, you will be responsible for loading and unloading metal materials, positioning and securing materials, evaluating part quality, ensuring proper tagging of finished parts, maintaining accurate part and scrap counts, and following safety rules and ISO requirements. You will also be expected to maintain a clean work area and meet efficiency expectations while working with cosmetic parts for large OEMs.
About You
Required:
- Ability to evaluate part quality using check aids and/or visual inspection.
- Physical ability to lift parts ranging from 5 lbs to more than 35 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and focus.
- Good attendance record and adherence to safety rules.
Preferred:
- Experience operating mechanical and hydraulic stamping press equipment.
- Familiarity with 5-axis laser cutting equipment.
