Family of Kidz is hiring a 1:1 Aides- Behavior Technician for a school-based position in Suffolk County, NY. The role involves working with children and adolescents with Autism, providing support and data collection in collaboration with clinical supervisors.
About the Role
As a Behavior Technician, you will work collaboratively with a Behavior Consultant clinical supervisor to collect data and respond to the goals and needs of clients and their families. You will maintain professionalism and confidentiality while working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that you meet the individualized needs of each child.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of 6 months ABA working with children or adolescents with Autism in a supervised setting.
- Successful completion of or current enrollment in an undergraduate program in psychology, healthcare, human services, education or related field.
Preferred:
- Bilingual is a plus.
- Critical thinker with a problem-solving mind.
